Set up a new Machinery

Machineries Menu > Machineries Master File

To start creating or adding machinery the user must navigate the Main Menu to:

Here the user will see the full list of machineries in the database.

To create a new machinery, the user must click on the “+”.

On the machineries creation screen exists many different details and fields regarding the information about the machinery; however, the important ones are the following:

- Machinery Code (REQUIRED FOR CREATION AND SAVING)

- Machinery Description

- Type code; (So it can be filtered into the proper categories when doing machinery requests)

- Asset code; in order to correlate this machinery with asset depreciation and obtain cost

- Item code; in order to link this machinery to an item which can be ordered when a machinery is requested and not available.

Once all the required basic data information is added the user must save.
